John Bellamy was an 18th-century Nottinghamshire compiler of country psalmody (West Gallery music). He was known for only one book, A System of Divine Musick. This was published in 1745: it was printed for the author by Robert Brown of 'Windmill-Court, Pye-Lane', London, and was sold by the author 'at his School in West-Redford, NottinghamshireLink to the English Wikipedia article', and by Stephen Austen in Newgate Street, London.
