Born: 17 June 1780, Watertown, Connecticut

Died: 26 June 1799, Watertown, Connecticut

Biography

Merit Woodruff was a composer, who died tragically of drowning at age 19. He was a student of Asahel Benham, who arranged for his works to be published after his death.
