Italian text Ninfe leggiadre, e voi almi Pastori, Correte à gara in queste parti e‘n quelle, Cogliendo herbette e fiori Di più vari colori Per tesset vaghe ghirlandette, e belle A i crin del mio bel, verde e novo Lauro. O felice ristauro Del mio passato errore! Te ne ringratio, Amore, Poi che da infida à sì fida ombra, e grata M‘hai posto; ond‘ io gioisco, E sol di sì dolce aura mi nutrisco.

German translation Hübsche Nymphen, und ihr, löbliche Hirten, lauft um die Wette hierhin und dorthin, Kräuter und Blumen sammelnd, von allen unterschiedlichen Farben, um hübsche und schöne Girlanden zu winden um die Haare meines schönen, grünen und neuen Lorbeers. O glücklicher Trost meines vergangenen Fehlers! Ich danke dir, Amor, da du mich von ungetreuem zu so treuen und wertem Schaten gesetzt hast, weshalb ich hoch erfreut bin und mich nur von so süßem Hauch ernähre. Translation by Gerhard Weydt
