DE NVPTIIS INCLITI REGIS POLONIAE SIGISMVNDI AVGVSTI
ET ELISSAE CAESARIS FERDINANDI FILIAE

Nulla quidem virtus est Principe dignior, ardens
Quam pietatis amor: quocirca ante omia curam
Religionis agas, et propagare memento
Hunc, sacra quo gaudet Christi respublica, cultum
Iura deinde tuis sapienter ut aequa ministres
Civibus: officium poscit munusque regendi.
Clemens esse bonis debes et sontibus atrox:
Aequat enim superis animi clementia reges.

Georgius Sabinus (Georg Schuler), 1543
