Latin.png Latin text

O bone Jesu, duo in me agnosco,

Amen.

English.png English translation

O good Jesus, I see in myself two things:
the nature which you created and the one which I have learned.
I confess that I have deformed my nature through wickedness.
Remember that I am a spirit going away and not returning,
and by myself unable to return.

Eia, eia, o sweetest Jesus, take from me what I have made,
and leave what you have made,
so that what you have redeemed with your precious blood may not perish.
Amen.
