French text Original text Pere eternal qui nous ordonnes navoir souci du lendemain des biens que pour ce iours nous donnes te mercions de cueur humain plaise toy du celeste pain paistre noz ames a ta gloire Modern French Père éternel qui nous ordonnez n'avoir souci du lendemain. De biens que pour ce jour vous nous donnez, nous te remercions de cœur humain. Plaise-Toi du pain céleste et nourrissez nos âmes à ta gloire.

English translation Eternal Father who hath instructed us not to worry about what the morrow brings. For all the goods that you hath granted us today, we thank thee wholeheartedly. Take pleasure in the heavenly bread and feed our souls to grow in thy glory.
