Perche m'inviti pur mondo fallace,
teco ne pac' haver ne triega voglio,
crudel tirano rendim' il mio core,
mondo bugiardo, mond' ingannatore.

Ahi falso lusinghier che molto fale,
con poco mele astutamente copri,
non vo piu tue lusinghe traditore,

Rotta è la rete dei sottil' inganni
ove molt' anni mi tenest'involta,
hor piango, se ben tard'il lungo errore,
