Sequir' una ch'odia e sprezza,
e che v'altiera sol di sua bellezza
e pur doglia da morire,
ne lo posso piu soffrire.

Amar' una ch'è sleale
e ch'è cagion' al mondo d'ogni male
e pur troppo gran peccato
da non esser perdonato.

Lodar una ch'è crudele
e ch'è piena di tosco assentio e fele,
e pur una gran bugia,
de maggior ch'al mondo sia.

A tal che signora bella,
poi che sete sleal crudel'e fella,
ciascun pur d'ambi duo noi
tendi a far i fatti suoi.
