Description: First published in Wyeth's Repository, Part Second for two voices, Tenor and Bass. A folk hymn (Lowens 1964). Words by Joseph Swain, 1791, with nine stanzas of meter 11 8. 11 8. D. The 1813 composition halves this meter, and lists ten stanzas of meter 11 8. 11 8.
