Description: First published in Plain Psalmody, 1800, p. 63, for three voices: Treble-Tenor-Bass. Words by Isaac Watts, 1709, his Hymn 23 of Book 2, in six stanzas. Holden used stanzas one and two of Watts' hymn in his composition.
