It appears that two different scores are in discussion.
A simple SATB setting, which might well be 19the century and a very intricate polyphonic setting, which certainly is by Lassus...


AFAIK: 1560  appeared "Tiers livre des chansons a 4,5 & 6 parties nouvellement composées par Orlando di Lassus"

checked and doublechecked: there is no reason whatsoever to doubt the origin of this piece..
