A simple SATB setting, which might well be 19the century and a very intricate polyphonic setting, which certainly is by Lassus...


This one appeared 1560 in "Tiers livre des chansons a 4,5 & 6 parties nouvellement composées par Orlando di Lassus"
Score should be rewrited, using an other placement of lyrics :
the first verse 'mon coeur se recommande à vous' is pronounced : 'mon coeur se recommand'à vous', which is only 8 syllables, strictly corresponding with first musical part of thema.

Score should be rewrited, using an other placement of lyrics : the first verse 'mon coeur se recommande à vous' is pronounced : 'mon coeur se recommand'à vous', which is only 8 syllables, strictly corresponding with first musical part of thema. tryalof 17 january 2006
