Quem pastores laudavere a 11 - Praetorius

Ross, a minor query about this, discovered while I was trying to apply some rationality to text pages. In your edition, verse 3 has premant whereas other versions have promat. Is this a difference in the source documents or a mistyping? promat seems to make more sense, (at least, according to Google Translate!) Jamesgibb (talk) 14:09, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi! My source, Vol. 19 of the Gesamtausgabe der musikalischen Werke von Michael Praetorius (ed. Friedrich Blume), has premant. Unfortunately I don't have access to an original printing to check. It's possible that Blume made a mistake (though I haven't noticed many in his editions). My Latin isn't good enough to know which might be correct. Sorry I can't be more authoritative!
