These were holy men who have gloriously shed their blood for the Lord.
They loved Christ in their lives, and welcomed him in their deaths.
Therefore they have merited crowns of triumph.
One spirit, and one faith was in them.
These are they which came out of great tribulation,
and have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb.
Despising earthly power, they came to the kingdom of heaven.}}

Viri sancti gloriosum sanguinem fuderunt pro Domino.
Amaverunt Christum in vita sua, invitati sunt eum in morte sua.
Et ideo coronas triumphales meruerunt.
Unus spiritus et una fides erat in eis.
Isti sunt qui venerunt ex magna tribulatione
et laverunt stolas suas in sanguine Agni.
Contemnentes aulam regiam pervenerunt ad regna caelestia.
