Biography
Zedekiah Sanger was born in Framingham, Massachusetts. Four hymn tunes attributed to Sanger were published in the collection The Village Compilation of Sacred Musick (Boston: 1806), compiled by Daniel Belknap (also of Framingham). One of these tunes, 'Sudbury', was republished in The Meridian Harmony (Dedham: 1808), a collection compiled by Sanger 'and others', which also included nine new other tunes by Sanger not previously published in Belknap's collection.
