Ecce ascendimus Hierosolymam, et omnia ,consummabuntur, quae scripta sunt per Prophetas de filio hominis: tradetur enim gentibus et illudetur et contumeliis afficietur et conspuetur; et postquam flagellaverint, occident eum, ac die tertia resurget

Seht, wir gehen jetzt nach Jerusalem hinauf, und es wird sich alles erfüllen, was bei den Propheten über den Menschensohn geschrieben steht: denn er wird den Heiden ausgeliefert, wird verspottet, mißhandelt und angespuckt werden, und nachdem sie ihn gegeißelt haben, werden sie ihn töten. Aber am dritten Tag wird er auferstehen.

Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written of the Son of man by the prophets will be accomplished. For he will be delivered to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and shamefully treated and spit upon; they will scourge him and kill him, and on the third day he will rise.
