English.png English translation

A maiden went to the well/
And what hapened is as follows/
  she met a proud boy/
who greeted her from the heart/
She puts her pail down beside her/
  And asked who he was/
  He kissed her red mouth/
  Don't you know me anymore/
come here, come here, come here.

The maid put on her slipers/
 In this case,
Who has any right to speak/
but She soon hade a new dress made/
And did not stint on the cloth/
 as you might have guessed/
She doesn't want to be ours/
 She hass another boy/
away with you, away, away with you.
