Biography

Kamilo was born in Ljubljana. He was son and student of Gašpar Mašek. At age of 9 he already performed on stage as violinist. At age of 15 he composed his first art song An die Sterne. At age of 18 he became member of Ljubljana philharmonic society. Due to passionate composing he got too exhausted and during treatment died in Ščavnica (present Austria) of tubercolosis.
