English text
With the coming of the showers,
When the wintry days are o’er,
Blossom forth the sweet spring flowers
Where the snowdrifts lay before.
From the winter’s gloom awaking,
All about the sheltered lawn,
There the golden buds are breaking,
Ere the snowflakes scare are gone.
