Evening is shading
Earth, air and sea;
Luna's bright daughters
Sparkling above,
Play in the waters,
Wake, dearest love.

Why art thou sleeping,
Why slumber on?
Moments are creeping,

Soft zephyrs playing
Thro' the green grove,
Seem to be saying
