Original text and translations

Latin.png Latin text

Grates nunc omnes reddamus Domino Deo
qui sua nativitate nos liberavit de diabolica potestate.

Huic oportet ut canamus cum Angelis semper:
Gloria in excelsis.

English.png English translation

Let us now give thanks to the Lord God
who by his birth freed us from the power of the devil.

It is right therefore that we should ever sing with the angels:
glory in the highest.
