General information
Description: Michelangelo Rossi's second book of madrigals. The lyricist to all but three pieces in the book is Giovanni Battista Guarini.
First printing: No prints on record; extant only in a variety of manuscripts copied from an unknown source c. 1650. The compositions were likely originally written sometime in the 1620s.
Publication date and place: ante 1650 – known only from manuscript copies.
