Italian text Non mi pesa, mio bene, ch'amando altra di me vi caglia poco, perché son vostra, ma l'antico foco ch'in voi rinnova nova il mio martire, che mi sforza morire. Perché quella di voi ha tanta copia ch'io misera patisco estrema inopia.

English translation It does not weigh upon me, my love, that in loving another, you care little for me, for I am yours; but the the old fire that in you rekindles, renews my suffering, forces me me to die: Because she has such much of you that I, poor one, suffer extreme poverty.
