Talk:Mon cœur se recommande à vous (Orlando di Lasso)
double entry of this composition... tha "a" with and without accent grave. should be combined ? --Wursten 09:33, 26 December 2005 (PST)
Some write : compostion not of Lassus.. other 'dubious', 19th century..
It appears that two different scores are in discussion.
A simple SATB setting, which might well be 19the century and a very intricate polyphonic setting, which certainly is by Lassus...
This one appeared 1560 in "Tiers livre des chansons a 4,5 & 6 parties nouvellement composées par Orlando di Lassus" —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wursten (talk • contribs) on 10:18, 27 December 2005.
Score should be rewrited, using an other placement of lyrics :
the first verse 'mon coeur se recommande à vous' is pronounced : 'mon coeur se recommand'à vous', which is only 8 syllables, strictly corresponding with first musical part of thema.
