Description: First published in Plain Psalmody, 1800, p. 40, voiced for three parts: Treble-Tenor-Bass. Words by Isaac Watts, 1709, his Hymn 9 of Book 3, with ten stanzas. Holden used stanzas three and seven of Watts' hymn in his composition.
