Pourquoy mon coeur pense & souspire,
Souverain Sire.
2 Entens à la voix tres ardente
De ma clameur, mon Dieu, mon Roy,
Veu que tant seulement à toy
Ma supplication presente
i'offre & presente,
3 Matin devan que iour il face,
S'il te plaist tu m'exauceras,
Car bien matin prié seras
De moy, levant au ciel la face,
Attendant grace.
4 Tu es le vray Dieu, ui meschance
N'aimes point ne malignité,
Et avec qui en verité
Mal-faiteurs n'auront accointance,
Ne demeurance.
5 Iamais le fol & temairaire
N'ose apporaoir devant tes yeux:
Car tousiours te sont odieux
Ceux qui prenent plaisir à faire
Mauvais affaire.
6 Tu fureur perd & extermine
Finalement tous les menteurs:
Quant aux meurtriers & decepteurs,
Celuy qui terre & ciel domine,
Les abomine.
7 Mais moy en la grand' bonté mainte,
Laquelle m'as fait favoure,

Que en toy ont sepors & foy:
Ioye auront sant fin dessoys toy,
Avec ceux qui ton nom cherissent,
Et te benissent.
12 Car de bien faire tu es large
A l'homme iuste, o vray Sauceur,
Et ie covres de ta faveur
Toyt ainsi comme d'une targe
Espesse & large.
